Review: Sigma Beauty Lip Vex Lip Glosses...!!!

Hope you all are doing great. Being a Sigma Beauty Affiliate, I recently got the chance to try some products that were a part of their Steady Glow Collection. All the products included in this collection are beyond gorgeous. The steady glow collection sets are not available at Sigma beauty website anymore. However, am glad that these products are still available for purchase individually. So today am sharing my review on Sigma Beauty Lip Glosses known as "Lip Vex" in three gorgeous shades. So let's get to the review and see what I have to say about these...

These lip vexes are creamy and thick in consistency but not too thick to be felt uncomfortable on lips. I am not much of a lip gloss girl but am so in love with the texture of these lip vexes. They feel so hydrating on the lips and do not feel sticky or tacky. They have a particular smell and taste which is not bothersome for me. Another great thing about these lip vexes is that these are paraben-free. The shades that I got from steady glow collection are vivid, steady glow and dazzling. I will be sharing my thoughts on these individually now.

Lip vex "Vivid" is a gorgeous coral pink shade, in fact a perfect shade for spring/summers. It is not shimmery and is my favorite among the three lip vexes that I got. It is very pigmented and the coverage it provides is medium yet buildable. This shade makes my lips appear fuller. The staying power of this gloss is pretty good too and it stays on my lips for about 3-4 hours which is pretty nice for a gloss. Even after the color fades away, my lips feel hydrated and nourished. Am so in love with this shade and I find myself reaching for this gloss very often these days.

The shade steady glow is a nice peachy shade with orange sheen and some fine shimmer particles. This is my second favorite shade from this collection and this again is a perfect shade for spring/summers. This shade is fairly pigmented and when applied on lips, it initially appears too glossy. After about an hour of application, the glossiness/shine reduces and it appears as a subtle shimmery peach shade then. Am not at all a fan of shimmery lip products but the fine shimmer particles in this one look very subtle and are not much noticeable. The staying power of this one is the same and it lasts on my lips for about 4 hours or more and keeps my lips hydrated till evening.

| Sigma Beauty Dazzling Lip Vex |
Dazzling is a bronze gold shade with chunky shimmer/glitter. Now this is a really different kind of shade and reflects the theme of steady glow collection perfectly. This shade is very pigmented and the coverage it provides is completely opaque. The staying power of this one is quite remarkable too and it stays on my lips for about 4-5 hours. Even after the color fades off, the shimmer sticks to the lips and is somehow hard to remove. This in not a very wearable shade in my opinion. However, it is very unique and can be used on top of any lip color to add glamour to your look.

ReplyDeleteYes am not very fond of shimmery lip colors either. But I love the first two shades. The shade steady glow has some very fine shimmer in it which is not at all bothersome for me. Glad u liked these too :)
