Review & FOTD: Sigma Beauty Loose Shimmers and Shimmer Creams

14:20:00

Hey lovelies,

Hope you all are having a great day. Many of you requested me to review my new favorite highlighters that I use to achieve that full 100 watt glow. So today am sharing my secret behind those perfectly glowing cheeks. My current favorite products to do this job are Sigma Beauty Loose Shimmers and Shimmer Creams and am going to review these beauties today. So let's get to the review and see what I have to say about these.

Sigma Beauty Loose Shimmers and Shimmer Creams
Sigma Beauty Shimmer Creams
Left: Shimmer Cream "Brilliant" Right: Shimmer Cream "Sultry"
Sigma Beauty Shimmer Creams:
The two shimmer creams that am reviewing are "Brilliant" and "Sultry". These shimmer creams by Sigma Beauty are beyond gorgeous and am in love with these. These creams contain some very fine shimmer particles. The shimmer in these looks so subtle and reflects light perfectly. These creams feel so lightweight on skin and have such wonderful texture that blends beautifully into the skin. These shimmer creams do not accentuate any dryness on pores on the skin. The best part is that these do not feel oily like other cream blushers or products so these are perfect to be used on all skin types.

The shimmer creams by Sigma Beauty are so versatile and can be used anywhere on face to highlight the cheekbones, cupid bow or can be used on eyes or brow bones too. I am so in love with the shade "brilliant" which is a nice peachy gold pink shade with some very fine shimmer in it. It looks so gorgeous and gives such a subtle glow. The other shade "Sultry" is a bronze gold kind of shade that will compliment slightly darker or warmer skin tones. I like using it on my eyes. Here are the swatches of both the gorgeous shades.

Sigma Beauty Loose Shimmers
Sigma Beauty Loose Shimmers:
The two loose shimmers that am reviewing today are in shade "Ambrosia" and "Glided. These loose shimmers are also very versatile and can be used on face as highlighter, on eyes as eyeshadow and on brow bone to highlight. They actually have a lid on top with three small holes in it. But I prefer removing that upper lid to get the right amount of shimmer. These loose shimmers can be slightly trickier to use or blend and they have slight tendency to accentuate pores too. Am not personally a fan of loose shimmers as they tend to get everywhere and are difficult to use. But now, I have somehow learned to use these carefully without much unwanted mess. The staying power of these loose shimmers is pretty amazing too and they last on me till the end of the day easily. However, these have slight tendency to transfer.

The shade "Ambrosia" is a gorgeous cool toned pearly pink shade. Whereas "Glided" is a nice golden shade. The secret behind my full 100 watt glow are these loose shimmers. I always thought of using these on my eyes only. But one day I took a little amount of this shimmer on my blush brush and gently applied it on my cheeks with a light hand and oh mine I was stunned to see that gorgeous 100 watt glow. Once fully blended, these loose shimmers do not look very shimmery and give that perfect shine. You need to carefully use a little amount of this shimmer on your face and blend it really well. Using too much can accentuate your pores and can actually make you look like a disco-ball. Here are the swatches of both the shades...

Overall, these shimmer creams and loose shimmers have won my heart. Am in love with the shimmer cream in shade "Brilliant" as its so gorgeous, blends perfectly and gives that nice subtle glow that lasts all day. I also love playing with these loose shimmers as they are so versatile. These provide that full 100 watt glow to my face which am so loving. I will be featuring these beauties, in my eye looks too.

At the end here is a quick FOTD that I have created using these Sigma Beauty products to achieve that perfect glow:
