Hope you all are doing great. Today I will share my routine and life as a blogger with you all. I will be sharing how I usually spend my day at home as a blogger, what tasks I usually carry out, what things I usually do and what's my idea of a perfect day at home. So let's get to the post and see how I spend my perfect day at home.

My Perfect Day at Home

So on my perfect day at home, I usually wake up around 11 AM. This is when I don't have to go to work or anywhere else. The first thing I do in the morning is checking my insta feed with some toasts, Nutella and a cup of tea. I try to find anything positive and good in each day as I truly believe there is always, always something to be grateful for in each day. I also share some inspirational or motivational quotes on my social accounts often to spread positivity and happiness.

Once I am done with my breakfast/brunch, I set my room, my bed and vanity etc. I like my things to be really organized and clean. So the first task in the morning is to clean and set my room and vanity so that it looks perfect, just the way I like it.

Then I check what products are currently in testing phase and usually apply some of those products on myself in noon so that I can properly test them all day long. At times, I also apply a bright lip gloss or my favorite lipstick to brighten up my day.

Makeup products for the day

Mail days are the best days for a blogger. If any mail/parcel has to arrive at my place it usually reaches in the morning or till noon. Mails definitely brighten up my day and my mood. Around 1:00 PM I usually open my laptop, check my blogger dashboard, my Facebook page and other social accounts. I check and reply to any pending mails, comments and queries. I also read some new posts by our lovely fellow bloggers and comment on the posts whenever I get time. If its a "Post Writing" day, I quickly check the drafted post, finalize and publish it on my blog and share it on all social accounts and then head toward the next task.

If its a "Product Swatching" day and I have to take photographs of swatches or lip swatches, I usually go outside in sunlight or near my window to take clear pictures of the swatches in natural light. Then I get busy in the "Product Photography" corner in my room. It is a study table with a bright lamp, some background charts, papers and other relevant things for photography. I love product/makeup photography and really enjoy doing it.

I usually have to take tons of shots of a product or swatch. The I go through all the pictures and select the best shots among them to publish in my posts or social profiles. I do some basic editing or adjustments with the pictures if needed, then watermark and finally save the pictures for my upcoming posts.

Till 3:00 PM am almost done with my posts on social networks, product photography and swatching etc. I then take a shower to relax and then have lunch with my family. After lunch, I once again get back to my laptop to surf the net, check out some other blog posts, check my social accounts, do some other activities and work on any pending posts or pictures till evening. At 6:30 I take a tea break with family and then watch TV with my Mom.

At night around 9:30, me and my brother usually crave for something yumilicoius especially pizza. Food Panda is the best online food ordering service in Pakistan. The Food Panda Mobile App is even better and is easier to use. There is a great variety of restaurants with different cuisines to choose from. Being a pizza lover, I order my favorite 14th Street Pizza very often. I just love love love their chocolate lava cake. Thanks to Food Panda app for making online food ordering even easier.

I enjoy my pizza at night while watching TV or my favorite movie. Movie and pizza is definitely the best combo. A perfect ending to a perfect day.


At the end of the day, I remove my makeup (if any), wash my face, brush my teeth and then go to bed with a grateful heart and hope of having an even brighter tomorrow IA :)

Hope you enjoyed Eid-ul-Fitr to the fullest and had fun getting ready, meeting relatives and doing much more. Eid is the perfect occasion to go bright with colors and bold with makeup. Its all about spreading happiness, peace, love and sharing joys with our loved ones. Talking about colors of Eid, this Eid I opted for a simple yet colorful lawn suit by Bonanza Satrangi with some traditional accessories. I showed a glimpse of my Eid look on my social accounts and many of you requested me to show you the full makeup look. So here I am, sharing my Eid makeup look and outfit with you all.

Since its summer and the weather is quite hot in Pakistan, therefore I wore a lawn suit by Bonanza Satrangi, nothing too fancy. This was an un-stitched four piece lawn suit with embroidery patch and shafoon dupatta and I got it stitched myself. I couldn't take a full proper picture of the dress because of shortage of time as I wanted to capture clearer pictures of my makeup look to share with you all. The front of the suit was beige and off white whereas the back was red and orange. I matched the bangles and other accessories with the dress to add more bling to my look.

As for makeup, I decided to go for a subtle eye makeup look using light peach and gold shades from Sigma Beauty Brilliant & Spellbinding Palette. I paired the look with matte red lip color. Used a peachy orange blush and to highlight my face, I combined Mary-Lou Manizer with the bronze shade from Makeup Revolution Radiance Palette. I will be sharing the name and details of the products used for the look at the end.

Hope your week is off to a great start. I have been more interested in eye shadows and eye lashes lately. Yes I still love lipsticks the most but I have been practicing and trying to improve my eye makeup skills and therefore became more interested in trying different types of eye shadows. Today I will be reviewing two mono eye shadows by Makeup Revolution that I tried recently. I am a huge fan of the brand and its products. Let's see what I have to say about these single eye shadows by Makeup Revolution.

Makeup Revolution mono eyeshadows come in black plastic packaging with transparent lid. Unfortunately one of the shades (pure) got slightly broken during shipment but it was still in good condition and I managed to fix it. The other shade (Smokin 2) arrived in perfect condition. Overall the packaging is decent. However, you need to pack these properly if you plan to travel with these.

Both the shades are matte and are highly pigmented. I am stunned by the amazing color payoff of these shades. The texture of these eye shadows is very soft and easily blend-able. They apply smoothly and cause minimal fallout during application. Nothing bothersome though. Both the shades are so gorgeous. "Pure" is a lovely nude brown matte shade which is great for everyday use or day time looks. "Smokin 2" is a deep purple shade with hint of blue. It is actually a purplish blue shade. It is perfect for using in crease or outer-v and is great for creating smokey eye look. The staying power of these eye shadows is pretty great too and these last on my eyes for 6 hours or more without creasing. Here are swatches of both the lovely shades without any primer beneath.

Overall, I am pleased with these mono eyeshadows by Makeup Revolution. Smokin 2 is my favorite among the two as its the perfect matte shade to use or blend in crease. The color payoff of these eye shadows is pretty amazing and the formula is somehow different than the eye shadows in the Makeup Revolution palettes. I still personally prefer palettes over single shades as I find them more convenient. But that's just a personal preference. For the price, these eye shadows are really good and I recommend all eye makeup lovers to try these.

• Easy to apply and blend
• Minimal or no fall out
• Good staying power
• Do not crease
• Affordable

The Bads:

• Packaging is not so sturdy

The range includes reds, oranges, plums, pinks and nudes captured in an enchanting fairytale themed campaign. The shade that am reviewing today is L'Oreal Color Riche # 335, Carmin St Germain. The shade is from the "reds" in this new range that are associated with "Snow White", the first fairytale character revealed for this campaign. So let's get to the review and see what I have to say about this new red by L'Oreal Paris.

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick comes in sleek gold packaging. The packaging is sleek yet prone to scratches. The lipstick glides smoothly on the lips and feels very hydrating. It really nourishes the lips and keeps them hydrated for many hours. However because of such creamy formula it slightly tends to bleed. This lipstick feels lightweight and comfortable on lips. It is highly pigmented and provides full coverage in one to two swipes. The finish this lipstick provides is glossy which turns kind of semi-matte to creamy after a while. I really love the hydrating formula of this lipstick and love how it feels on my lips.

The shade 335 Carmin St Germain is a deep red shade with some hint of pink. The shade initially looks true red on the lips but after a while the pink undertones become more noticeable. It also leaves a deep pink stain on the lips after the actual color fades off. The lasting power of this lipstick is pretty good and it stays on my lips for almost 5 hours or more and then leaves behind a deep pink stain. The pink stain stays on the lips for some extra couple of hours.

All in all, I love the new L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick. The shade 335 is a really gorgeous red with good staying power. The formula of the lipstick melts onto the lips and feels very hydrating. It has some minor cons like tendency to bleed and transferring to teeth but with so many pros, such minor cons can be ignored. While many might think that this lipstick is a bit pricey for a drugstore brand, I think the formula, feel and performance of this lipstick makes it worth the price and I definitely recommend you to try this.


The Goods:

• Great pigmentation
• Good staying power
• Glides smoothly on lips
• Feels very hydrating
• Has a subtle glossy finish
• Leaves behind a nice pink stain
• Doesn't accentuate fine lines on the lips
• Sleek packaging

Hope you all are doing great. Today am sharing my thoughts on two new products by Essence Cosmetics; Essence Colour & Shape Eyebrow Gel and Precise Eyeliner Brush. Since I have naturally thin eyebrows with fine hair and lots of gaps, therefore using brow pencil or powder is a must for me. My favorite product to fill my brows is Sigma Beauty Brow Powder Duo. However I was intrigued to try any tinted eyebrow gel and luckily came across this new Colour & Shape Eyebrow Gel by Essence Cosmetics which comes with an affordable price tag. So let's get to the review and see what I have to say about these two products.

Starting with the colour & shape eyebrow gel. As the name already explains, this is a tinted/colored eyebrow gel. This brow gel comes in a round pot that contains enough quantity of the product. It somehow reminds me of ABH Brow Pomade that I have on my wishlist. I am glad Essence Cosmetics introduced this affordable version of eyebrow gel. Not sure if it could be a possible dupe for ABH Brow Pomade or other brow gels though.

The shade that I got is 01 Brown which is perfect for those with black or brown eyebrows. The gel formula applies smoothly and easily. This all-in-one eyebrow gel defines and sets the brows and keeps them intact for many hours. It doesn't feel sticky and sets to natural looking, matte finish. The colour & shape brow gel is fairly pigmented. However, it is not highly pigmented and does not fill large gaps easily. I feel the need to apply a lot of quantity of the brow gel to properly define and fill my thin eyebrows. The staying power of this brow gel is really impressive and even in such hot and humid weather, it keeps my brows intact and stays almost all day long without transferring or smudging.

Essence Precise Eyeliner Brush:
Essence precise eyeliner brush is a multipurpose angled brush that can be used to apply gel liner, brow color/powder or for precise application of eyeshadow. The brush comes in transparent outer packaging and has white floral pattern on the handle that looks so attractive. This brush has a precise slanted tip which is not very stiff. The bristles of the brush are soft and good quality. Since the tip of this brush is not very firm, it does not work very well for applying gel eye liner. However, the size and shape of this brush is best for applying eyebrow color or eye shadow on lower lid. I use it for applying essence colour & shape eyebrow gel. It applies the brow gel with perfection and provides more control for precise application of color. Those with very thin brows like me may feel the need to use a stiffer brush for even better application of color.

In the picture below, I have applied Essence Colour & Shape Eyebrow Gel in shade 01 Brown using Essence Precise Eyeliner Brush.

Overall, am quite pleased with these new products by Essence Cosmetics. The precise eyeliner brush is pretty decent for the price and works well for applying brow gel. However, it is not the best brush to apply eyeliner with. The eyebrow gel is not as pigmented as other eyebrow powders/colors and does not fill huge gaps easily. Nonetheless, I like it a lot and think it is great for everyday use. It is an all-in-one brow gel that defines and sets the brows easily. The staying power of this brow gel is really impressive too. For the price, its something unique and really good and I am glad Essence Cosmetics came up with such affordable version of brow gel that was much needed. Both the products are affordable and I surely recommend you to try these.
