The set of nails that I got is "Festive" in natural pink color. The shape and size of these nails is short square. Nails are available in different sizes and lengths on the page. The color of these nails is light peachy pink. Its looking slightly darker in the pictures because of the white background but you can see the exact color in the pictures below. These are glue-on nails and you can use any artificial nail glue/adhesive to stick these. Since I have extremely short nails, therefore I like using fake nails for events and occasions. Am glad that the shape and size of these nails is perfect for me. Thanks to the page owner who helped me choose the right size.

The set has 2 plain, one completely glittery nail, one half glittery nail and one nail with rhinestones. I love the design and color combination of this set. The set is perfect for parties and other events where you want your nails to make a statement. Since I have extremely short nails and use nail colors only occasionally, I see myself wearing these quite often. These blingy nails are perfect for the current festive season. The quality of the nails in this set is pretty nice too. I didn't experience any breakage, cracking or fall out with these and I can say these are pretty durable.

Many of us think of diarrhoea as a common disease and don’t take it seriously. However, most people are not aware of the fact that diarrhoeal disease is one of the biggest global killers. It is one of the leading causes of death among the developing world's children. Each year, diarrhoea kills around 53000 children under five and is the second leading cause of death in children under five years old. 25 million cases have been reported annually in Pakistan alone.

Save a Child a Minute from Diarrhoeal Disease,  A Global Killer

These statistics related to diarrhoeal disease are really alarming. However we need to know that diarrhoea is both preventable and treatable. Interventions to prevent diarrhoea include safe drinking-water, use of improved sanitation and hand washing with soap. There and few more small steps can save children from this killer. These include low-osmolality ORS and zinc, rota virus vaccine, exclusive breast feeding, vitamin A supplementation, hand washing with soap at critical times, stop open defecation, household water treatment and safe storage.

Reckitt Benckiser (RB), manufacturers of Dettol, and Plan International Pakistan, a developmental sector organization, have collaborated to design and test a new approach to reduce the incidence of diarrhoea amongst under-five children by improving the health, hygiene and sanitation conditions. On December 8, 2015 RB and Plan jointly launched an innovative behavior changing campaign, “Save a Child a Minute” in Pakistan. The vision is to stop deaths from diarrhoea by empowering women and creating wealth for local communities.

Rashid Javed, Country Director Plan International Pakistan gave his remarks at the launch event: “Based on our experience of Sanitation Marketing we are now moving forward to test a new model of women entrepreneurship. The model is based on helping communities to adopt improved hygiene behaviours and sustaining them through a sustainable supply chain. Establishing a system of supply and demand and linking it with women entrepreneur/Women hygienist is an idea which will ultimately help these women to earn their livelihood while helping their communities to promote health by adopting improved behaviours for water, sanitation and hygiene.”

CEO RB Pakistan highlighted the key points of the projects at the launch event. During his speech he stated: “RB has always aimed to provide healthier homes and happier lives through trusted brands such as Dettol, Mortein, Harpic and many more. This global initiative simultaneously being run in Pakistan, Nigeria and India seeks to eradicate diarrhoea and improve general health and hygiene of the low- income consumers by habit change. Through global research and technology, RB has designed a low-cost antibacterial soap under the Dettol brand, a complete new formulation specifically for this purpose. The aim is to interactively educate consumers about health and hygiene, provide them with affordable health and sanitary solutions.”

The campaign emphasizes on empowering women by providing them with health and sanitation products that can help them fight diseases like diarrhoea. Locally hired women from lower economic class are given these goods (from RB and other private partners such as Searle, Shan Foods, Peak Freans and Santex) at a discount and they sell them door-to-door and earn a commission on them.

Behaviour Changing Model to Eradicate Diarrhoea

Haider Sheikh explained the overall model and tactical plan of this project. The main behaviour changing model presented by the company to eradicate diarrhoea consists of three basic pillars; Educating and creating awareness about the cause of this disease, providing innovative low-cost products that help prevent diarrhoea and empowering women through and inclusive business model.

MNA Phyllis Azeem was the chief guest at the launch event and she assured government's support for the cause in her speech. The project is in line with the government vision project 2025. Currently the government is collaborating for the pilot, it can further look into jointly up-scaling the campaign at a national level.

In the next 6 months, RB and Plan will cover 600 households in Dhori, a village in Sargodha. Later on, “Save a Child a Minute” will be scaled up nationally by RB and Plan in close coordination with the federal and provincial government to support the Government’s Vision 2025 project.

This is a really brilliant and remarkable initiative by RB and Plan towards eradicating dirrhoea. Such a campaign will save lives of millions of children from this killer disease. We wish team RB and Plan all the best for this project and hope that this initiative will help eradicate this killer from the society.

Hope you all are doing great. Its been a while since I posted any review on the blog. Been caught up with so many things lately. But here I am today, sharing my review on Jordana Eyeliner Pencil in shade 38 "Dark Brown". Lately I have been more into brown eye pencils since they look subtle and complement my eye color. Jordana Dark Brown Eyeliner Pencil is a gorgeous brown shade. Let's see what I have to say about this eyeliner pencil by Jordana Cosmetics.

So this eyeliner pencil is much thinner and longer than the regular eye pencils. The pencil is very long thus it will last much longer. The texture of this eyeliner is not very creamy yet it glides on smoothly without tugging. The pigmentation of this pencil is not very intense but decent and buildable. One swipe of the eyeliner provides decent color payoff and u can get much darker color with more than one swipes. This eyeliner pencil didn't irritate my sensitive eyes which is a plus.

The shade that am reviewing is 38 Dark Brown. It looks like a true brown color with just one swipe. However with multiple swipes, the shade looks much darker. I love using this eyeliner pencil to fill in my brows. It works great as a brow pencil. This eye liner pencil is not smudge-proof and the staying power of this eyeliner is pretty average. It starts fading soon and stays on my eyes for about 3-4 hours at max which is not really impressive. However, if used to fill in brows, it lasts a bit longer.

Overall, this eyeliner pencil by Jordana failed to impress me much. The color payoff is decent and it applies easily without tugging. However, the staying power is just average and its not smudge-proof. In my opinion, it works better as a brow pencil than an eyeliner. This eyeliner costs really less and for the price this is OK, something you can easily carry with you in your purse.

In terms of silhouette, the collection presents a range of traditional and more experimental cuts, from lenghas, crop tops, peshwases, angarkhas, ghararas, jackets, dhoti shalwars and saris. Hey everyone,

Hope your all are doing well. Its been long since I published any tag post on my blog. I had been so busy with my work and blogging routine in past few months therefore couldn't publish any such post. Since Ayesha tagged me most recently, therefore I will be answering the questions she asked me for this tag post.

1. What do you do in your free time?
Ans: In my leisure time, I usually work on my blog pictures or pending posts. Other than that, I talk to my friends, surf the web and listen to some good music. I also prefer watching a good movie if I have enough time at night.

2. How do you organize your makeup?
Ans: I have shared pictures of my vanity and acrylic drawers many times on my Instagram and facebook page. I like to keep all my things including makeup all set, neat and well-organized. As for my makeup, I have my vanity and few acrylic and other organizers. I usually keep the moisturizers, primers, foundations, perfumes and body sprays that am using these days on the top of my vanity. I keep the blushers, highlighters, eyeliners, lip pencils and many of my lipsticks in the two acrylic organizers. Then in the the drawers of my vanity, I have things like blush palettes, eye palettes, lip crayons, lipsticks, makeup brushes and products that are under testing phase. In other organizers/drawers I keep things like false lashes, mascaras, and things that I don't use so often. So I keep my makeup organized in a way that it looks good as well as is easier to find and use.

3. Which makeup brand is your favorite?
Ans: Naming just one brand as my favorite is a little difficult. There are many brands that I love for different products. However if I still have to name one brand that I love overall, that would be Makeup Revolution. I love almost all the products that I have tried so far by this brand.

4. Your favorite movie or a book?
Ans: I do read but not a lot. I prefer watching movies and have many favorites. Still to mention one, I would name The Great Gatsby. From story to set designs, costumes and background music, I love everything about this movie and can watch it over and over again. I even bought the wet n wild fergie collection lipsticks just because of my love for this movie.

5. Is there someone you wish you looked like?
Ans: To be honest, NO. I never wished to look like someone else. I like the way I am and I would never wish to look like anybody else.

6. How do you calm yourself after a bad day?
Ans: After a bad day, praying is the best remedy. Speaking to Allah makes you feel so much better and calm. Other than that, yes I do talk to my very close friends with whom I can share things or may be do something that makes me feel better. Even organizing makeup does that sometimes.

7.  Your preferred shopping destination?
Ans: I prefer shopping online for makeup, jewellery, accessories and even clothes at times. However, in Islamabad I prefer going to Blue Area or F-10 Markaz for shopping.

8. What does beauty mean to you?
Ans: To me beauty is not something external only. Its not just about looking beautiful on the outside. It is much more than that. Real beauty is the inner beauty, beauty of the soul and beauty of the heart. If I talk about external beauty than yes beauty is about being classy, wearing a beautiful smile and being confident about yourself.

9. If one wish was to be granted, what would that be?
Ans: We all have so many wishes, don't we? Well if I were granted one wish, I would wish to be stronger than ever, to have the strength that would help me reach where I want to be and make my dreams come true.

10.What is that one thing you cannot live without?
Ans: Well our family and loved ones are definitely the people we can't live without. And that would be a conventional answer. But since you have asked about one THING, I would say my cell phone. LOL

11. Are you a quiet person or a talkative person by nature?
Ans: I do talk a lot when am with my friends or with the right people. I have been a good speaker, presenter and host always. However by nature, am not much talkative. I am rather a quiet person and a very good listener.

NYX soft matte lip creams are fairly pigmented. The pigmentation is not as good as other liquid lipsticks but it is still good enough and provides almost opaque coverage in just one swipe. These soft matte lip creams have different texture than the rest of the liquid lipsticks I have tried so far. These are rightly named Soft Matte Lip Creams as the texture is very soft, feels creamy and dries to a soft, semi-matte to matte finish. These do not feel drying on the lips and feel extremely comfortable to wear. However, these do have slight tendency to accentuate any dry patches on the lips.

The shade "San Paulo" is a gorgeous rosy pink shade. I am so loving this shade. It is perfect for fall, winters or even summers. The shade "Antwerp" is a lovely peachy pink shade which is great for spring or summer. I love such shades and don't mind wearing them even in winters. The staying power of these lip creams is pretty decent yet not very remarkable. These last on my lips for about 4-5 hours which is not as good as other liquid lipsticks but not bad either. Overall, I really like the formula, feel and soft matte finish of these matte lip creams. The staying power of these lip creams is not really remarkable as compared to other liquid lipsticks. Nonetheless, I love these. These lip creams are so comfortable to wear and are non-drying. For the price, I think these lip creams are really good and you should definitely try these out.
