Hope your week is off to a great start. Today on the blog, I am reviewing Odho Cosmetics Lipsticks in 5 gorgeous shades. I have reviewed their Blushons and Eye Shadows on the blog already and found both the products pretty decent for the price. So let's get to the review and see what I have to say about these lipsticks by Odho Cosmetics today.

Odho Cosmetics Lipsticks

AO Cosmetics lipsticks come in red and gold metallic bullets. These also come with an outer cardboard box. The name of each shade is written at the bottom of the tube. The packaging looks good quality and pretty decent for the price.

Odho Cosmetics lipsticks are available in 40 ravishing shades in variety of finishes. The formula, feel and performance of lipsticks vary from shade to shade. The shades that I am reviewing are: Poetic, Rapture, Pleasure, Bewildered and Bashful. Let's take a look at all of these shades individually now.

Poetic:
Poetic is a gorgeous mauve shade with blue undertones. It is a very wearable shade that is perfect for everyday use. It applies easily without tugging and doesn't accentuate any dry/rough patches on the lips. However, it does leave my lips feeling slightly dry at the end of the day. The finish of this lipstick is creamy matte and it provides full coverage with just one swipe. The staying power of this shade is about 4-5 hours which is pretty decent.

Rapture:
Rapture is my favorite shade among all. It is a beautiful red shade with pink undertones. The shade is suitable for all skin tones and is a perfect affordable red shade. The finish of this lipstick is slightly glossy which becomes semi-matte after a while. This shade glides smoothly on lips and feels moisturizing. However, it has slight tendency to bleed and transfer. The coverage it provides is medium yet buildable. The staying power of this lipstick is about 5 hours after which it leaves behind a nice stain that stays for some extra couple of hours. The stain however can accentuate any dryness or cracks on the lips.

Pleasure:
Pleasure is a really nice pinky nude shade with glitter particles. The shade itself is really nice and unique. The formula of this lipstick however is my least favorite of all. I hate the heavy chunks of glitter in this shade. It feels drying on the lips and the shimmer/glitter tends to settle in fine lines or lip cracks. The staying power of this shade is pretty average too and it stays on my lips for about 3-4 hour. The glitter also tends to transfer easily which I find quite bothersome.

Bewildered:
Bewildered is a really bold shade. I can describe it as a really dark almost blackish brown shade with some hint of maroon. This is a kind of shade I don't wear at all but those who love bold n dark lips will love it. Its a perfect goth shade. The formula of this shade once again is not very good. It applies smoothly on the lips. However, it tends to accentuate any dry patches on the lips. The finish of this shade is completely matte. The staying power of this lipstick is around 3-4 hours or sometimes more.

Bashful:
Bashful is a really different shade. It is a greyish taupe kind of shade. The most unique shade in my lipstick collection so far. It almost looks greyish when applied on the lips and I don't find it wearable at all. But it is unique therefore I like it. The shade has semi-matte finish and feels comfortable on the lips. The staying power of this shade is 4-5 hours which is pretty decent.

Overall, these lipsticks are OK for the price. The formula, finish and performance of these vary from shade to shade. Few shades worked really well for me while two shades didn't live upto my expectation. However, if you are looking for some affordable locally available lipsticks, then you should definitely check these out.


The Goods:

• Apply smoothly on the lips without tugging

The Bads:

• Few shades can feel drying and can accentuate dry/rough patches on lips
• Shade pleasure has chunky shimmer
• The shimmer in shade pleasure tends to settle in fine lines and lip cracks
