Hey beauties, Today am going to review a new mascara by Essence Cosmetics. Before starting, let me tell that I don't use mascaras on regular basis. My lashes are long but thin. They are naturally lifted upwards but they kind of remain tangled (hope this makes sense) but yes they stick to each other. Therefore, I always look for a mascara that define...

Hey lovelies,
Hope you all are great. Let's start the week with my favorite lip product for winters as well as summers, the MUA Power Pouts. MUA power pouts are considered as a dupe for the Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stains. I bought these two shades somewhere back in spring/summers this year and fell in love with them. I use these a lotttt and loving these power pouts even more in winters. So, I decided to do a quick review on these for all my lovely readers :)
I love lip crayons as they are more convenient to use. These lip pouts by MUA also come in a twistable stick crayon form which means no more sharpeners needed. These are considered as a lip balm and tint at the same time. I just love these. The only problem I faced was the melting issue. These power pouts are veryyyyy creamy that's why they melt terribly in summers. Therefore, you can't keep them in your bag/purse in hot weather. In summers, it's better to leave them in refrigerator overnight so that they don't melt and loose their shape. However, in winters it does not melt in the tube at all so am loving these more now.
These power pouts are highly pigmented and I must say am impressed with their pigmentation level. The coverage is medium but easily buildable. They glide smoothly on lips and feel very hydrating on lips but the hydration does not last very long. These power pouts provide a shinny/glossy finish right after the application. But am glad that the shine disappears after about half an hour and the glossy finish turns to a matte finish, which I quite like.
Now talking about the shades individually. "Justify" is a beautiful coral/orange shade which is very pigmented. When applied on lips, it appears as a bright coral with some hint of red in it. The shade is just perfect for spring/summers. I love this shade a lot ^_^. Next is "Irreplaceable" which is a pretty barbie pink shade with blue undertones. It seems lighter when swatched on arm but appears way more darker and brighter on my lips. Am loving this shade now a days in winters. Here are the swatches of both the shades:
The staying power of these power pouts is pretty reasonable too. They fade evenly. The shine fades after 45-50 minutes but the color stays for about 3 hours on the lips. It also leaves behind a subtle tint on the lips which stays for an additional 1 hour. So overall, it stays on my lips for about 4 hours or more with minimal eating and drinking which is not bad for a lip balm & tint.
The Goods:

Hey there beauties... Ombre lips are very eye-catching and attractive. I like creating different lip looks. Therefore, I decided to do a tutorial today on a subtle red ombre lip. Intense ombre lips are not wearable so am going to use a deep red and a coral/orange lip color to create a subtle ombre lip. So let's begin.... Subtle Red & Orange Ombre...
Hey beauties, Hope you all are great. I have been sharing my makeup and beauty hauls with you all. Today am doing my first fashion haul post. Few days ago I heard that "Stylo Shoes" is offering upto 51% discount on selected items. So, I decided to pay a visit and get a few things for winters. Let me share what I got...
Hey everyone,
Today I am going to review my new favorite lip colors for this season. I recently bought this and love this color so today am going to share my thoughts on this with you. Am talking about the "New Essence Longlasting Lipstick" and the shade I got is "Natural Beauty. There were many shades and all of them were so pretty but I lack such colors in my lipstick stash so wanted to try this out.
The packaging of this lipstick is much better than the previous Essence lipsticks. This comes in a matte black packaging which looks more decent. I like the new look Essence gave to these lipsticks. The name of the shade is mentioned on the bottom. Inside, you can see the essence logo engraved on the lipstick which looks good.
The pigmentation of this lipstick is quite good. However, it provides a sheer coverage with one swipe. You need to swipe 2 times to get the full color on the lips. Still, the color pay off and coverage is better than the older essence lipsticks. This lipstick It glides smoothly on lips and does not settle in fine lines. It feels very comfortable and creamy on lips. I won't say it is very hydrating but it's not drying either. I am comfortable with the formula of these new lipsticks.
The shade I got is "Natural Beauty". It's a beautiful nude pink with some purple undertones. In the tube it looks more pink but on applying it shows some purple/mauve undertones. I don't wear nudes or mauves but this lipstick is somewhere between. I love this color and this can be easily worn everyday. It will look perfect with dark smokey eyes. The staying power of this lipstick is pretty decent too. It stayed on me for about 4-5 hours and faded evenly. Here are the swatches of this lipstick:
Overall I like this lipstick a lot. I wasn't seriously expecting much from these new lipsticks as the previous lipsticks were a total failure for me. But, to my surprise these definitely are better than those. Here is a quick roundup summary of this essence lipstick.
The Goods:
Decent Pigmentation
Feels comfortable and creamy on lips
Nice shade for everyday use
Very Affordable
The Bads:
Need to Swipe more than one times for opaque coverage
Not veryyy long lasting as it claims
Price & Availability: These lipsticks are available on selected leading stores across Pakistan and online on Just4girls for PKR 400.
Have you tried the new Essence lipsticks yet??

Hey beauties,
A lot of bloggers were reviewing these HD blushers by ELF this year. They are said to be a good dupe for the Makeup Forever HD blushes. After hearing a lot of good things about these I recently bought one of these blushers from beautyinbudget4u. The shade I got is "Superstar". So today am going to share my thoughts on this blush with you....
This blush comes in a cute little plastic bottle with a pump/dispenser. The bottle has also a black cap which fits the bottle very well and makes it travel-friendly. I was surprised to see how small the size of bottle actually is but still the quantity enough. The pump makes this liquid blush much convenient to use. However, I feel that the pump always dispenses more than required product which leads to product wastage. Overall, the packaging is cute yet sturdy and I quite like it.
"Superstar" is a very pretty coral/pink shades. It appears more pink on me without blending. Upon blending it turns into a pretty coral peachy shade. The shade is ideal for light/medium skin tones. It also has some micro shimmer particles in it which are not very visible once applied on face. When applied properly this blush provides a semi-matte finish which I love. This shade looks so grogeous and can be worn everyday easily.
This blush is highly pigmented. In fact, it can be a bit tricky to use for the first few times because of such high pigmentation. You need only need a small dot or I'd say a micro dot to color both cheeks. Blending this blush can be crucial as it dries very quickly. You need to blend it fast before it dries up. I usually apply a small dot of this blush with a q-tip or my finger on the cheeks and then blend, blend, blend with fingers. At the end, I use my kabuki brush to blend it out further and have the desired finish.
The staying power of this blush is also great. Because of such great pigmentation this blush stays on me for about 5-6 hours. I applied it in the afternoon and when came back home at night, there was still some tint of color on my cheeks. I have dry/combo skin and it didn't enhance any dry patches on my face. Here are the swatches of "ELF Superstar":
Here is a quick summary of the pros and cons of this blush:
The goods:
Highly pigmented
Great staying power
Lovely color which can be worn easily
Comes in a pump bottle
Suitable for dry/combination skin
The Bads:
Can be a bit tricky to blend/use for the first few times
The pump dispenses some extra amount of blush
Dries up very quickly
Price and Availability: I bought this form Beautyinbudget4u for PKR 750. These blushers are also available on ELF website for $3.00.

Hey lovelies...!! I mentioned in my last haul post that I ordered a few things from Just4girls. They reached here on Friday ...yayyyy...!! Also I picked a few products from Al-Fatah last week and today am sharing all of them with you in this haul post. Let's see what I got...... Makeup/Beauty Haul Makeup/Beauty Haul Just4girls Purchases What i got from Just4girls: (1)...
Hey sweeties.
Hope you all are enjoying this evening. Today am going to review one of my favorite lip products. Any lipstick lover can't skip this. Yes, am talking about the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter. I mentioned this in my previous haul post. The shade that am going to review is "Tutti Frutti". Yummmm...!!!
Starting with the packaging as usual. This lip butter comes in a cute packaging which is very attractive. Each lip butter has a different colored lid. This one has an orange lid as you can see. I like the packaging overall but I'll advice you all to be careful when opening the lid or you may break the creamy lip butter unintentionally. The name of shade is mentioned on bottom.
Now talking about the texture. The lip butter is not exactly a colored lip balm rather it lies somewhere between a lip balm and a lipstick. It is very very very creamy which even makes it prone to breakage. Therefore you need be careful. It glides smoothly on the lips and feels very creamy and comfortable. The lips feel hydrated and smooth after applying this. However because of being so creamy and moisturizing it has slight tendency to bleed.
The shade "Tutti Frutti" is a gorgeous coral/orange shade with semi-matte finish. It adds a nice shine to the lips. If you have been reading my posts regularly you would know how much I love coral lip products. This one is a really nice orange color that makes your face look fresh. This shade will suit almost any one, but will look much better on fair to medium skin tones.
This shade "tutti frutti" is highly pigmented. The coverage of this lip butter is between sheer and opaque. It's medium but buildable you can say. In the tube it seems a vibrant orange lipstick but on the lips is much sheer and wearable. One swipe of the lip butter provides a sheer orange color to the lips. However, this product claims to be a lip balm. So, the pigmentation is great as a balm. Here are the swatches of this lip butter:
The staying power of this lip butter is decent. For me the hydration and the shine doesn't last long enough. After about an hour, the shine and moisture disappears but the lips still don't feel dry. There is a light color that remains on the lips for about 3 hours. Overall it stays on the lips for about 4 hours or more which is really good as a lip butter.
Final Thoughts: So my final words on this..... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lip butter. The color is so gorgeous and it really hydrates and moisturizes the lips. However, the moisture and shine disappears soon but still the lips feel nice. I love how it makes my lips smooth and provides just the right amount of color. It is a "must-have" lip product not only for winters but for summers too. I really recommend you to try these. However they are a bit expensive but still worth buying. There are many colors to choose from and all the colors are lovely.
Price and Availability: I bought this from online store "beautyinbudget4u" for PKR 1099. Revlon lip butters are also available at Just4girls.
