Hope you all are doing great. So as requested by many of you, here I am with the review of Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain in shade "A Stiff Pink". I bought this few weeks ago through Facebook Page Infinity. Well no more talking let's just get to the review and see what I have to say about it.

Okay so if you are a regular reader of my blog, you would be knowing how much I love lip crayons. I find these twist-able kinda crayons or balm stains much convenient to use. This balm stain is one of those chubby crayon pencils too. What I like about it's packaging is the lid, which closes tightly. You can hear a click sound upon closing the lid which makes it safer to keep in bag and purse.

Now coming to the finish and formula of this balm stain. It applies smoothly on the lips and moisturizes and hydrate the lips well. When first applied, you will slightly feel a tingling sensation on the lips (probably due to any of kind of the ingredients inside). I also feel that this balm stain makes my lips appear fuller. The finish is kinda glossy in the start which turns to a semi-matte finish after sometime and by the end to a completely matte finish. This balm stain keeps the lip hydrated for few hours only and after that it leaves a stain. Even the stain doesn't make the lips feel dry (a bit dry though). I recently had an allergic reaction to one lip product. Therefore, my lips were quite chapped and dried out when I tried this stain. But luckily, it didn't enhance any dryness on the lips. It doesn't settle into fine lines or cracks either. Hydrates and nourishes the lips for a couple of hours. So overall, am in love with the formula.

This particular shade "A stiff pink" is a gorgeous bright pink shade. What I noticed about this balm stain is that it changes color. When applied freshly, its a gorgeous pink shade with blue undertones. After a while the bright blue toned pink becomes much darker fuchsia pink and then after few hours, it starts fading slowly. It is very pigmented. The coverage is medium but easily buildable. One swipe on lips provide medium coverage and another swipe results in full coverage. The color is so soooo bright. I wasn't expecting it to be that bright, but I love it. It's one of those shades that would suit almost any skin tone.

Am pretty impressed with the staying powder of this balm stain. It lasts on my lips for about 4-5 hours (with full meal and proper eating). After that it leaves a kind of stain on lips which stays for some extra couple of hours. When I was testing it, I applied it in morning and splashed my face with water 2-3 times during the day, had lunch, and still I could see the bright color (slightly faded) on my lips till eve. After that it started fading, and left a light stain which stayed till night. So the staying power is impressive. What I don't like about this balm is that it fades unevenly. So, the stain looks awkward with uneven patches of colors on your lips by the end of the day.

Okay now here are the swatches of this lovely shade. It looks much brighter in person and is looking less brighter in pictures somehow. The first lip swatch shows how it looks when freshly applied on lips and the last picture shows the faded stain it leaves after few hours.

Let me tell once again, for some reason the color is appearing less brighter in pictures. But actually it appears as a much much brighter and darker fuchsia pink shade on lips. Even the stain looks so bright and appears as a reddish pink stain. Overall, am impressed with this balm stain and love using it these days. Even my Mom loves it and is impressed with its staying power and great color payoff. Am surely gonna get more shades soon. At the end, we have the quick roundup summary.

I mentioned the wet n wild silk finish lipstick in my previous haul posts. So, today am going to review it :) The shade am reviewing today is "Blushing Bali (545A). So let's begin......

The wet n wild silk finish lipstick comes in a grey/silver round tube with transparent lid on it. I hate the transparent lids of wet n wild mega last lip colors but this one seems better as it does not become so messy. The name and number of the shade is mentioned on the bottom. The packaging is average in my opinion but i don't mind that.

Now coming to the texture of this lipstick. This silk finish lipstick provides a satin smooth finish. It glides smoothly on lips and feels nice on the lips. This lipstick is hydrating. I won't say that it hydrates the lips a lot, but it doesn't make the lips feel dry at all. Overall my lips feel good when i apply this lipstick and i don't need to apply any lip balm before wearing this

The name "silk finish" is I think appropriate for the finish of these lipsticks as they are not completely matte and have pearly/frost finish. I don't like frosty or shimmery lipsticks at all and was scared to try it but I must say that the frost is not that noticeable. The frost appears as a decent nice shine on the lips. This lipstick also has very fine shimmer particles in it which again are not visible when applied on lips ,so yayyyyy...!!! Am happy with it.

The pigmentation of this lipstick is pretty decent but still I'd say it is not as pigmented as the "mega last lipsticks". This shade however is highly pigmented. With just one swipe you can get the desired color. The shade "Blushing Bali" is a peachy brown shade. It's a mixture of brown and pink/peach color. It's a lovely color and can be worn easily everyday. I can say it's a my-lips-but-better (MLBB ) shade for me with some nice shine in it. Here are the swatches of this shade:

The staying power of lipstick is also pretty decent. It stays on the lips for about 3 to 4 hours but without eating/drinking a lot. It fades evenly. The lipstick is highly affordable and you can try different colors from the range. But, each of them has a different finish.

Final Thoughts: Overall I like this lipstick a lot and that's why purchased one more in my next haul which i will review later. I bought this lipstick from beautyinbudet4u for only 299 (on sale) and i was not expecting much from it. But am glad I tried this. Its a budget friendly lipstick with a nice finish. It's super cheap and i love the color and the healthy shine it adds to my lips. However if you are a fan of matte lipsticks then this is not for you.

Review: Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Colors

Hey girls,

Today i'll be reviewing the famous lipsticks by Wet n Wild. Yes, am talking about the "wet n wild megalast lip colors" which i mentioned in my recent haul post here. I bought two shades "Rose bud" and "Smokin' hot pink".

Both the lipsticks come in black packaging with transparent lid on the top. The lid itself is tight but what i don't like about this lid is that it can become messy very easily. No matter how much i try to keep it clean, the lipstick somehow gets on the lid and makes it messy *Sigh*. So i don't really like the packaging of these lipsticks really.

The name of the lip color is mentioned on the bottom. The "smokin' hot pink" doesn't have it's name written on the bottom rather there is a number assigned to it which is 905D. But the name of this shade on internet is smokin'hot pink. While the "Rosebud" has both, the number and the name mentioned on the bottom.

Both the lipsticks are matte in finish. They are very opaque. Just one swipe is enough to get the full color of the lipstick. They are not drying and feel creamy on lips but if you have dry/chapped lips i will recommend you to apply a lip balm before wearing these lipsticks. Their staying power is great and they stay on for more than 4 hours on my lips. Even after the lipstick faded, there was a light outline left on my lips. Here is a arm swatch of both the shades:

Now coming to the color description. Wet n wild smokin' hot pink (905D) is a bright pink color. It's more like a reddish pink shade and feels very bright on the lips. I am not very happy with this shade because i know i'll be using it very less. Here is the lip swatch of smokin' hot pink:

The other shade rose bud (904B) is a medium pink shade. It appears much lighter like a peachy pink shade in pictures and in the tube but on the face it is also very bright and warm. But still, this is more wearable than the smokin' hot pink in my opinion. Here is how the rosebud looks on lips:

Overall, i like these lipsticks and like the fact that they have great pigmentation and staying power. The only thing i don't like is the packaging, otherwise they are just great. I bought these from online facebook store Beautyinbudget4u. Smokin' hot pink for Rs 625 and Rosebud for Rs. 550 (on sale).
